Big XII Conference vs Mountain West Conference
National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I
Texas' Lindsey Meyer (4) uses her 6'0 frame to get her head on the ball off a corner... |
...sending it towards the far post... |
...to Brooke Gilbert, who smacks the ball into the net. |
Brooke's strike opened the floodgates on a five-goal Longhorns frenzy. Click Texas vs Nevada to view the entire match photo album by Kokoy. |
Chrisalyn Fonte (20) bursts past Lindsey Meyer (4)... |
...to combine with Daisha Jones-Oglesby (15)... |
...on a give-and-go that splits the Longhorn defensive line... |
...leaving them in the dust. |
Brilliant play frees Chrisalyn from the crowd and turns her loose inside the box... |
...where the All-Mountain West midfielder finishes her run with a perfect strike... |
...past the lunging All-Big XII goalkeeper Abby Smith. |
Chrisalyn Fonte would finish her senior season at Nevada tied for fifth in career goals (12) and second in shot attempts (139). |
